We care about the environment
Constant development and the clients’ satisfaction are truly important to us - but we also care about the environment and the people.
The fact that we manufacture our products from corrugated cardboard, an eco-friendly, biodegradable material, is not the end of the story. We also go the extra the mile to make sure our production processes are as neutral for the environment as possible.
Our efforts
CARDBOARD - The raw materials made from recycled paper that we use for production follow the philosophy of sustainable and responsible forestry and are FSC® CoC certified. The dimensions of cardboard sheets are specified so as to limit waste as much as possible - the scrap cardboard is then pressed in a compactor and sent to a recycling facility.
PAINTS - Our modern flexographic printing presses use water-thinned paints that can be applied directly onto cardboard, all while maintaining the expected product quality. In turn, flexographic printing is challenging the position of offset printing.
ENERGY - Thanks to modern power-saving solutions, our machinery uses less energy than their older counterparts. Since we use LED lamps in our facilities, drawing much less power than traditional bulbs, the entire company consumes significantly less energy.
WASTE - All waste generated by ADAMS, whether in the offices or in the shop floor, is segregated. Additionally, our own pre-treatment plant removes paint residues from the generated sewage.
We help kids and youths
For many years, our company has been supporting children and youths by participating in charity events and promoting social activities among our employees. Apart from that, we will also be supporting the newly built Technical School Complex by providing an Occupation Teacher, free of charge.
Our efforts:
CHARITY EVENTS - For several years, our employees have been supporting the wards of a local home for single mothers. Once a year, also in Christmas season, the employees work with the Elementary School in Rokietnica to help make true the dreams of the kids living in the orphanage in Szamotuły.
HIGH AND HIGHER SCHOOLS - It is especially important that young people have opportunities to gain knowledge and experience while they are still studying. For many years, ADAMS have been giving such students paid traineeship and internship opportunities. We never miss the chance to participate in EU projects organised by educational institutions, such as Era Inżyniera (the Engineer’s Era) that contribute to the growth of key competences among students.
We care about health
The health and well-being of our employees are truly important to us. With this in mind, apart from giving our employees the chance to participate, free of charge, in various sport events, we also co-finance Multisport cards, hold fruit days and invite them to participate in the Sport Day.
Our efforts:
FREE SPORT SESSIONS - Once a week, ADAMS rents out a sports hall for employees wishing to practice basketball or volleyball. Alternatively, our employees can participate in coached fitness classes. Those who would like to practice more often or try something else can buy Multisport cards.
FRUIT DAY - In ADAMS we understand very well how important healthy eating is. Healthy food improves brain activity, gives more energy and leads to better, more fulfilling life. This is why we serve fresh, seasonal fruit to our employees once a month.
SPORT DAY - Organised during our annual team building event. A great chance for a friendly derby between our two football teams. To make it more interesting, our employees can also compete in strongman events, badminton and volleyball games or do an obstacle run.
